When did it be necessary for a cop to know when your anniversary is?

A friend of mine was pulled over yesterday for having a headlight out. He belittled the cop, so he was arrested. Of course, his drivers license had his birthday on it, and when the were at the station, he asked to call his wife and let her know what had happened. He wasn't allowed to until he told them when his anniversary is. WTF?

Testing to see if he really had a wife.

@MarkPaul what if he says july?

@MartinTheFirst True... but I'm not convinced most people who are lying AND who are dumb enough to get pulled over AND arrested for having a headlight out will be quick enough to come up with a made-up anniversary date if they don't really have a wife.

@MarkPaul 🤔

@MartinTheFirst Well, seriously... this alleged guy can't seem to figure out how to avoid an arrest and in fact invites getting arrested... but seems overly concerned with calling his wife... NOT to get him out of jail, but simply to tell her what happened? Can we really believe this?
