What is your definition of "jealousy"?

Do you define jealousy as the feeling which makes people not be happy for other's success and try to destroy their lives?!!Is it necessarily supposed to be accompanied by any action to prevent people from achieving success or the inner feeling of sadness or hatred is just enough to be called jealousy?

It's just a feeling, it doesn't have to lead to bad actions, it can even have a positive outcome, if people ask themselves why they feel that way, and decide to bring change to their lives.

What you describe is [b]envy[/b], I think. My understanding is that jealousy is fear of the loss to another person of something [b]you[/b] already possess—the love of a partner, one’s standing or position in one’s community, for example. Envy is the resentment of someone else’s achievements or relationship.
