Are you ever tired of people not being serious in responses to the posts on here?

It's entertaining, yes, but recently it's getting pretty old. Where have all the good answers gone?

Most people come here for entertainment, not for advice. So silly answers are given. It gets old, but hey that is life on The Net.

@JustLikeGreta but the name of the site is similar worlds and built off of connecting and sharing life experiences that we can find people who relate to them with us.

So why go to a site like this for "entertainment"?
@JaggedLittlePill People are bored, looking for relief from real life. This is not an advice site. Everyone sees it differently. Connections are nice but rare.

@JaggedLittlePill Are you suggesting the site should change its name to Many Levels of Madness?
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@ZonkeyBalls LOL. Possibly Psychotic Worlds?! ..

Wait... 🤔

@JustLikeGreta While there are people like that, there are also people who take this place seriously and they're sincere with their intentions on here, one of which is reaching out for those in need as well as those that can help them. Just because most people come here for entertainment, it doesn't mean you should become one of them and be insensitive to serious posts on here. Entertainment is entertainment, but you gotta know when to draw the line.

@SW-User I draw the line with a big black magic marker, if anyone starts making fun of my cancer. Probably in the face, while they are asleep.

@ZonkeyBalls Lol...
@SW-User I agree that sensitivity is needed. Some here really need a friend, or just someone to listen too. I hope I am kind and compassionate when it's needed. And I think most here are. But we are not professionals, and most prefer to keep the conversations light.

@JustLikeGreta Well that can be understood, but keeping the conversations light does not mean they can make jokes and funny remarks upon other people's personal stuff
