Now i get to share an unpopular opinion 馃槢

I can't be the only one who thinks this way, but some people make a bigger thing out of transgenderism than need be. Dont get me wrong, I am in full support of the LGBTQ+ community, and I understand where people are coming from with the whole biological sex is different from gender argument. I support that view and think that people should be able to identify with whichever gender they want. But the thing i take issue with is people crying about pronouns and emphasizing "identity", or people believing that their biological sex is now different because they're trans or nonbinary. If someone calls me by the wrong pronouns, so fucking what? It wont bother me because I know what I am and if they dont get that, their loss. It's not "hate speech" if someone misgenders you. It's a dick move, sure, and you're inconsiderate if you do that, but it's not hate speech. People lose sight of what those words really mean and try to apply it to their own meaningless problems in comparison to the rest of the world. Its ridiculous

A few times I accidently called a "he" a "she" and got slammed for it.
I just didnt know 馃槬
But I know I got a lot of crap for that, like thry expected me to know when I didn't even know their first name and just started talking.
I dont like that some people expect you to know what to call them and then get mad when you have no idea what to call them.

@SW-User exactly! If you have a more masculine appearance, my first reaction is to call you "he". If you look more feminine, I'll probably call you "she" at first. Were not mind readers 馃槙 people can really be jerks about it
