Do you wish you lived in a world without social media?

As much as I love using some social media websites/apps, I wish I didn’t. Not saying that I’m going to abandon it all, but I wish I never had access to it - like being born in an era before it, maybe. I feel like I’d be a happier person without it. I wouldn’t be able to let my curiosity get the best of my and look up an ex on Facebook. Or see a Snapchat story of an event my friends didn’t invite me to. I feel like it does more harm than good. Knowledge is great - in moderation.

This is the only place I am or ever have been involved with. I don't think social media is all bad or that it's bad in itself, but I do believe it has exceeded boundaries of it's original intentions, and that in many ways it does create more problems than it actually solves and causes more harm than good. A lot of that is just due to human nature...people love to push limits, break rules, and exceed boundaries (as well as take advantage of and abuse good things). I have no intention of ever dealing with facebook, I don't involve myself in twitter (or any other similar things)...I like the media in moderation and within limits, but there is such a thing as too much. I do remember what life was like before all of this, and though I don't necessarily wish to go back...I prefer to hold on to a lot of the ideals from back then.
