why do people go out of their way to vandalize things?

why do people do all these things go out of their way to buy supplies spray paint and vandalize things? me and my neighbor used to drive to work together and we could not afford garage parking center city, the city was too big to walk though with more then a million people living center city and so we had to find street parking somewhere, the only places we found the car got spray painted and vandalized the police couldn't do anything about it because there is no security footage from any camera. its unfortunate that people vandalize other peoples things. its not like the person vandalizing gets anything out of it, he has to use money for spray paint.

Evil sociopaths who delight in destruction, they probably don't own a car and resent people who have them.

@cherokeepatti I quite enjoy destruction. It's a lot of fun. But I only destroy things that nobody needs anymore, like garbage and stuff that people have discarded or thrown away. Breaking shit makes me happy, but destroying something that another person cared about makes me feel terrible.

@BlueMetalChick I've torn up paper and cardboard because I was stressed, no harm in destroying trash.

@cherokeepatti I blew up a toilet once with some fireworks.

I took a video of it and put it on YouTube, check it out.

@BlueMetalChick Wow you could have gotten hurt. I heard of teen boys throwing those firecrackers they call cherry bombs into things and blowing them up and one time they decided to throw one down an outhouse hole...let's just say they had some unintended consequences and learned a lesson the hard way.

@cherokeepatti I was wearing a pair of safety goggles. That's my old house that I moved out of. The toilet was broken and had been uninstalled anyway so we blew it up. It was delightful, I get such an adrenaline rush from explosions like that.

@BlueMetalChick When I was a kid we had to burn our trash because we didn't have garbage service. We'd have to separate the cans & jars from the burnable stuff and collect them in another barrel and haul them to a dump every few months. I got assigned the chore of separating and burning the trash and it was nasty. My sister and cousins used a lot of hairspray and while the trash was burning I noticed the can said "Do not incinerate"...I didn't know what that meant so I went inside and asked my aunt and she said incinerate meant to burn because it would explode. I said "OK" and went back outside and took that can and threw it into the trash barrel plus a deodorant spray can. When I was finished I came back inside and my aunt was smiling but she didn't say anything. After that burning the trash was fun. I'd save all the spray cans for last and throw them in one at a time..

@cherokeepatti Oh, aerosols! Yeah those can cause quite an impressive fireball.
