Silly question but if u had a house guest...

If u had a house guest would u be comfortable them just going into your room without permission or mentioning they are going in just to use ur mirror... esp when there is a mirror in the guests room & the main bathroom....?

Regardless if the house guest is a family member or not? In my case it's my brother & keeps going into my & my hubby room to use the mirror... the en suite... to & sit & read... like come on! Has to be some boundaries!
I would tell them to fuck off

@MushroomFaerie I've told him to fuck off but he gets so offended that anyone wud say any swear word at him... he's the biggest cudnt I know but although he's 10 years older than me (Yea in his 40s now) if I even say 'stop being a dick' he'll go running to our parents telling me off... it's ridiculous
@BondGirl84 yeah that is ridiculous, hes lucky you tolerate him in your house

I would be creeped out at their presence.

[c=#7700B2]when I have had friends or family stay over. im comfortable enough with them to make themselves at home and go in my bedroom or whatever. My friends help themselves to my clothes anyway so its not much different[/c]
no, that is totally not on.
i'd put a note on the mirror telling them to piss off

I never minded my friends being in my bedroom but yeah just some random acquaintance sounds annoying and creepy

@BondGirl84 That makes sense and I’m Indian too so I get what you mean but you need to do something or your brother will use autism as an excuse for bad behaviour forever

@SW-User well in a way he is better than what he used to be but will usually listen to my mum so thinking I'll have a word but ask my mum to have a word too to re-enforce it... I don't want to resort to that but he needs to have boundaries.... even at a close friend or other family member I'd never go into their bedrooms without reason or with their permission! Thank u tho!

That can make it a challenge.
Boundaries are not obvious to ppl on the spectrum.

Need to gently explain.
Many times.
And hope....

Agree.
Still need boundaries.
Even with brother.

Maybe especially

No I'd be very annoyed with anyone who did that
