Yes. Time only exists in our experience. Past, present and future exist continuously, though we only "see" in the present

Maybe not in the same way as we think of it, but more as a part of space (my explanation is a bit too simple)
@chameleongirl Ha ha ha! Sorry! That's what you just said! 🙄

@chameleongirl Well put.
This is a quote from physicists stating part of the theory of quantum entanglement. I believe it reveals that time is neither a human construct or a script of movement, but the only thing in the universe that makes us aware that we exist as humans.
"Time is an emergent phenomenon for internal observers but absent for external observers of the universe."

@OldSoul11 External observers i believe would be any quanta that may or may not be aware of specific boundaries of space-time, notation gets confusing at that point for me because of obvious clashes between string and super symmetry statements, but for shits and giggles i figure imagination could help us observe the universe externally.
Keeping track of time is a human concept. Perceieving time is an organic experience because the brain can't process everything all at once
@MushroomFaerie Wow! The absence of perception and thought would be true omniscience!
@puck61 it'll all make sense when we are dead like it did before we were born lol

But once it's passed you never get it back
@Virgo79 except its always there
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@MushroomFaerie more time, the time that passed is gone forever
@Virgo79 okay but its not

Imaginary? No. Space-time is the very fabric of the Universe. Our perception of time may be an illusion, but if the cosmos exists, space-time exists.

Maybe. Every time I try to think about time all I end up doing is hearing Jim Croce's 'Time in a bottle' lol.
@5thApprentice Wonderful song! Iconic!
I’ve decided it 12pm today then, so I can leave work 😁

Yes. Only for mortals.
