Do you believe that, from a scientific perspective, time is an imaginary thing?

I think it is. Time is a human construct , and without the human imagination, time would only be movement.

Imaginary? No. Space-time is the very fabric of the Universe. Our perception of time may be an illusion, but if the cosmos exists, space-time exists.
@hertoy It seems like, without the human imagination, time and "space time" would be movement and distance. It's kind of a conundrum because we 'are' the eyes that see the universe, and the minds that consider it. Kind of ties in to the 'observer effect' in a VERY loose way.

@puck61 I agree if you except the notion that "we" are the only intelligent life in the Cosmos...
@hertoy Do you think there might be different levels of complex thought, that we are not even capable of conceiving?

We might be like fire ants to them........

@puck61 Absolutely!!! Great question!
@hertoy It's mind boggling! The Moody Blues said, "Thinking is the best way to travel." I have to say, I agree. There is absolutely no excuse for an adult to be bored. Everything is ultimately amazing!
