Yes we do...sculptures, paintings, and photography. We have a few sculptures out in front of our house as well. My wife and I both have a love for art.

Do you have a favorite piece?@indyjoe

@Effloresce Actually a couple (though we like them all)... We have a print if a painting of Adam and Eve in paradise done back in the 1600's, and we have a statue of 'Venus' which was the very first piece we collected together (it has since been joined by a couple of reproductions of 'Hercules' and Michelangelo's 'David').

Wow that’s really cool 🙂@indyjoe

@Effloresce Thanks. We also have a couple of small reproductions of Rodin's sculptures, one being the famous 'The Kiss'. I'll never forget the reaction the first person to ever see our 'Venus' statue...she took one look at it and said "Why do you have a statue of a naked woman in your house?"😆

Haha ya just gotta look past all that to see the true beauty in the art. I never thought about how some people might be weirded out by that lol@indyjoe

@Effloresce A lot of people just don't understand it or get it. My wife and I have always been appreciative of the nude in art...it has always been a fascinating and often beautiful subject of art for centuries (maybe even longer). There are even people who will classify it as "pornography". We have an "art center gallery" in our area, and the old ladies that operate it won't even consider allowing any nudes in there to display. It's ridiculous.

Wow that is ridiculous. I usually just think about all the hard work that goes into making the human figure look so realistic. It’s seriously amazing. @indyjoe

@Effloresce I agree...whether it's painting, sculpture, even photography. The human body regardless of it's shape and size is a work of art, and I admire any artist who can bring that out and capture that in their work. I love nature/landscapes too, and I think it is exceptionally beautiful when they and the nude are brought together (a nude body and natural surroundings just seem to belong together naturally).
