Congratulations. Hopefully the price will surprise you and go down a bit lower for your next petrol stop.

@gmatthewb This is the UK we are talking about going down for 1 week means up for 6 months 😒

@SunnyLife I'm in Canada, it isn't much better here at all. Price goes down slowly and goes up quickly, for no rational reason. Price here can be $1.10/L and a 15 minute drive away it can be $1.20/L for the same fuel company. If you ever figure out a system that works, please let me know.

@gmatthewb just done a check and what we are paying is equivelant to $2 canadian

@SunnyLife That doesn't surprise me at all, Europe has higher fuel prices than we do. But I can drive a bit more than 1 hour and cross into the US and pay the equivalent of $0.76 per litre in Canadian dollars. I heard a long time ago that fuel prices are set based upon the average household income of a specific area. I've come to believe that could be true. Not all the time of course.

@gmatthewb I don't know how they are set but apparently Oil companies drill for oil, send it to refinerys convert it to petrol sell it to their own forcourt garages and then say they have no say in setting the prices 🤔

@SunnyLife How about this, oil from Alberta Canada goes to the US to get refined and then sold back to Canada before being distributed. Does that sound crazy enough?
