Update on fuel war

Thank you everyone who gave great advice and sympathised when I bought fuel last week
Just been to ASDA £1.19.7 Litre Sainsburys £1,21.9 I Saved Money 😁 this UK prices

@SunnyLife That doesn't surprise me at all, Europe has higher fuel prices than we do. But I can drive a bit more than 1 hour and cross into the US and pay the equivalent of $0.76 per litre in Canadian dollars. I heard a long time ago that fuel prices are set based upon the average household income of a specific area. I've come to believe that could be true. Not all the time of course.

@gmatthewb I don't know how they are set but apparently Oil companies drill for oil, send it to refinerys convert it to petrol sell it to their own forcourt garages and then say they have no say in setting the prices 🤔

@SunnyLife How about this, oil from Alberta Canada goes to the US to get refined and then sold back to Canada before being distributed. Does that sound crazy enough?
