Have you ever fainted or passed out?

What were the circumstances?

When I was 12 or 13 I fainted in church and the preacher’s wife woke me up with the smelling salts she kept in her purse.

Turns out I had a pretty severe case of anemia due to an undiagnosed kidney issue.

@ProdigalSummer I just imagine the preacher reading the passage about Jesus commanding the demons to leave, then you pass out.

@Straylight it was slightly less dramatic. I was walking back into the sanctuary after Sunday school class and swooned like Scarlet O’Hara for everyone to see.

@Straylight I outgrew it. And honestly it was probably exacerbated by my mom letting me drink nothing but sodas.

@ProdigalSummer If I ever faint again, I hope I have the foresight to put the back of my hand on my forehead and declare "I've got the vapores!"
