is there reasons why, some well known singers get rejected the first time, and somehow find away, to be founded?

Do you think shows like the voice etc are just to give ppl the illusion you don’t need to be skinny with nice tits and dumb enough to sign silly exhausting contracts to make it big ..?
Same with doods.. need sex appeal and easy to exploit
