What do you think is behind the fact that cultures all over this planet have similar mythological creatures like vampires and elves and such?

The sprites, Puca, (That's where puck came from) elves, faeries, gnomes, trolls, ogres, Yetis, Sasquatches, werewolves, vampires, skin walkers, dragons, etc etc.....

childrens tales that give a warning to certain behaviors in life..

tiz a pity we dont hold morals and ethics to a high standard anymore..
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I was conditioned with Aesop's fables, and Kahil Gibran. I don't regret either. I remember The Frog and the Scorpion and I think that is something we need to think about right now. The Ant and the Grasshopper, and The Frog and the Scorpion are stories that are very relevant to today's social cancer.
@puck61 theyre all relevant..

do kids even sing the anthem or say the pledge of allegiance in school any more?..

theres no pride left..
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I remember in grammar school we had the pledge and a bible reading and prayer every morning. Children worked hard at home. We all had chores. I spent a great deal of time chopping firewood. In high school the guys had pickups parked in the lot with loaded gun racks full of loaded guns and the idea of school shooting never crossed anyone's mind. People didn't cut themselves ...things have changed so much.
@puck61 an nobodies asking Qs..
The new normal
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout The sad thing is; There is more information available at everyone's fingertips, and everyone couldn't care less....more than ever.......
