How do you know when it’s time to walk away?

What things give it away?

When the reasons to leave are more than reasons to stay.
When staying makes you feel unsettled.
Etc

Part of you is already too gone from the situation and the only thing remaining is your physical presence.

To be on the safe side : emotionally and psychologically it's best to follow a new path and find oneself again.

I always take notice of my gut feelings. If I am questioning then there is something wrong. If these feelings have been around for an amount of time then take a backward step and reassess.

There's a subtle vibe ya feel, it may take a while to understand what it's saying, but it gets louder rapidly.
It all shows on its own when one feels clearly that they are no more needed.
By assessing the adversary, terrain and taking stock of your own tools.
When they cant make me drip anymore
@silentkillx2 do they make you drip now 🤣
@Duckduckgo yes they still do actually 😋
@silentkillx2 you are a lucky lady then 😊
Are you talking about romantic relationships?

@lovelywarpedlemon Not specifically. It can be with any kind of commitment
@1455spd Without knowing specifics, and assuming we are talking about people, I'd have to say the animal instinct is pretty incredible at detecting a sense of "wrongness." That sense may be delayed for a short while, but humans will eventually identify synchronicity in uncomfortable events and negative feelings. Then it's a matter of choice: to accept or avoid truth. When the "bad feelings" overwhelm all possible benefits from a particular situation, it's time to leave, or suffer the consequences.

When they start finding fault with everything you do, leave

When the person is lying to you, when a request as simple as walking with you till the end of the street becomes a big deal, when you go from being a “wonderful person” to “pathetic”
1455spd · 31-35, M
@solitaire Better late than never, as the great philosopher Genghis Khan probably said at some point
solitaire · 41-45, F
I agree but I’m still trapped in my head. I cannot trust anyone
1455spd · 31-35, M
@solitaire Trust yourself. You'll get better at figuring out who's worth the effort. Trust isn't something you should ever force
