What's your earliest memory?

Mine is sitting on a quilt watching my mother arguing with a bearded man as he left the house.

Age 3. Sitting on floor of a car. I had managed to press the clutch pedal, letting the car roll downhill, hitting a picket fence at our house. I have no idea how I managed to be in the car alone, but I suppose somebody left the door open.
