@BrokenWhiskeyGlass2 It was actually a series of training videos from the late 80's / early 90's that were used to educate retail employees about how to spot shoplifters. In reality, it's more effective at teaching you how to shoplift than it is at teaching you how to stop it. When I worked at a record store during that time, the manager insisted on showing these videos to new people.

The video I was hoping to find isn't out there. It was called "It Takes a Thief", and it was hosted by a guy straight out of central casting. He was a convicted felon who ran a shoplifting ring and then started making these videos after being released from prison. He looked like he had just walked off the set of Goodfellas and was still in character. He had slicked-back hair, handlebar mustache, 3-piece pinstriped suit, and spoke with a thick Jersey accent. I wish to God that I would have kept one of those videos, because they were comedy gold.
