Because there are not enough users here to have viable groups. It’s still one table here. Everyone seems to read everything that is posted so a posting to a group gets a bunch of uninformed responses.

I have, but most people don't often go there and read them because this questions forum gets most of the attention. To be honest, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if SW did away with this questions section and let people go back to writing, posting, and replying in groups as it used to be.

I've been wondering the same thing 🙄.

They do. They're called stories. Because they are longer, not as many people read them as quickly.

Less interaction usually

We're not people, we're dead inside.

@Deadgirl I'm not sure that's true. Even though the stories & questions now go to the same feed (For most?), stories do seem to get no attention. In first years of SW at least, there was a clique who were actively attacking people for writing more than short questions.
The main thing for me is the groups are too hard to use on SW, there should be an autocomplete type search field suggesting groups you've used most recently, groups you're member of, and then other groups.
