What’s your favorite brand of hot sauce?

I know someone that carries hot sauce in her purse to put on food whenever she eats out. I don’t have anywhere near that kind of brand loyalty, but I’m willing to try. What’s your go-to?

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Whoever came up with that name needs an award
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout there's so many stupid hot sauce brands.. it's like every hillbilly in america got a contract

I live and die for Tabasco chipotle Peppers hot souce. It has the right balance between flavor and fire
1455spd · 31-35, M
@Thetimetraveler I like that one too. Not quite the amount of spice I’d like, but excellent flavor
Thetimetraveler · 41-45, M
@1455spd you can put it on a fresh cut tomatoes with some olive oil and it is excellent. That is how good it is

I'm too inebriated to spell...but I'll try....chalula

@Rokasu 10-4. Bring rum and we'll rent a limo to the strip club
Rokasu · 36-40, M
@Notanymore Oh shit the best of ideas. I’ll be there before your ass passes out.

@Rokasu I'm an old school hard rocker....if it's a skin club night....I'm in for the haul...

Rokasu · 36-40, M
That tapatio shit. Fucking fire.

@Rokasu forreal. Everything else is trash.
MrAboo · 36-40, M
I like cholula
Sourdad · 56-60, M
Actually, Aldi's store brand Burmans is a good hot sauce for people just getting started. It's flavorful with a nice kick without being too hot.
Sourdad · 56-60, M
It's hard to have a favorite when there are so many excellent hot sauces to choose from.
1455spd · 31-35, M
@Sourdad Are there any of those that I might not have tried?
SW-User
Tapatio or valentina. Everything else has a weird ass after taste.

@Indy74 That’s the brand she carries in her purse! Are you that loyal to old Peter as well?
Indy74 · 46-50, F
@1455spd ya never know!😀
Thetimetraveler · 41-45, M
That one is good too. I used that a lot when i was in Midwest. I haven't seen that here. I'm gona look for that when i go shoping.
SpaceCreature · 26-30, F

@MartinTheFirst I freaking hate sriracha most of the time. Unless it's with eggrolls or something. My vietnamese friend's mum mixes it with rice and it ain't that bad.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@SW-User then you havent had cholula. It tastes like liquid ass.
SW-User
@MartinTheFirst I don't like cholula either. It just ain't pleasant for some reason. Has a weird after taste that bothers me.
Tabasco. No question. It's amazing stuff.
Sourdad · 56-60, M
@LeopoldBloom Everyone carried a bottle of Tabasco when they went into the field to put on their C-rations, but in the mess hall there were always a bunch to choose from. It was fun to try all the different ones.
@SW-User It depends on the soup. Any cream soup goes great with it.

And you're right, not on potatoes. It doesn't go with everything.
SW-User
@LeopoldBloom Yeah, I can see it with cream soup.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I can do a teeeny bit of sriracha, I like Frank's Red but it isn't really hot. I've not got the genes for hot spicy.
I'm not keen on hot sauce I use tobasco when cooking & buy piri piri for my son.

Cholula. Imported from Mexico. Not the cheapest, but the best.
