Why does a 6 and 12 pack of bottles cost the same amount as cans, but a 24 pack of bottles cost $4 more?

You don't even save money buying a 24 pack vs buying 2 12 packs really.

Every thing is marketing. Luckily, I am good at math, but they do make it hard to do it in your head.
@carsonfry how tf do you need mental math when everywhere tells you the price per ounce?

They do not have those stickers every where. I guess you spend most of your time in grocery stores, I applaud you.
No.. actually I spend very little time in stores, but I know enough to read the fucking label at the stores to know wtf I'm.paying

@Llort As I said before, many stores do not have those stickers. And then when they have stuff on sale, it does not show those prices per ounce or what ever. But then again, if it is on sale it is usually less, but it is not always as less as you would think.
I'm sorry, but the subtext of this question is aimed at beers. That wasn't described or detailed, and maybe it wasn't clear either. Idk how this is marketing or retail. It seems to be bigger than both... Seems like there should a be legitimate reason behind this quenominon.

Funny that you should reveal that, as that is what I suspected that from the start. I buy beer every day, and no other store than a grocery store posts the per ounce price. The corner stores are usually cheaper unless you want to buy a 24 pack every day.
Your as bad as I am .... But why!?!?!?

Is there a legit fucking reason for this shit? Y do bottles cost so damn much!?!?
carsonfry · 22-25, M
Because bottles taste better, but sometimes you can find them the same price as cans. It all depends on the store and the manufacturer.
