For a relationship, looks are important, but not more important than an emotional bond. Often, an emotional attraction leads to a physical attraction. Personally, I thought my bf was hot when I first met him, but until we developed a strong emotional bond and I was attracted to him on the inside, I never considered going out with him. Friends for 2 years first.
