Wasnt forthcoming about lack of degree, is that bad?

I was in college full time for 5 years. I got pregnant my last semester, and also had a mental breakdown at that. I ended up leaving with over 140+ college credit hours. Thats almost enough to be halfway through a masters program; However, as of a few years ago I had literally 6 hours (2 classes) left to finish my degree. It hasnt ever held me back. Now, Im about to get this job at a huge tech company - And they liked the fact that I studied Sociology for 5 years. It says on my resume So and So University B.S. Sociology - 2006-20011 (5) years. Which to me at the time, meant I was in school for 5 years working towards that degree. During my interview, they have not flat out asked me if I graduated, I havent said anything that says I have graduated either. He did say to me at one point.. You studied sociology right? I said Yes, 5 years at So and So school. Ive been all excited until it JUST dawned on me... Is it going to hurt that I havent flat out come out and said Hey I still have 6 hours left technically to have a degree.. According to the job description, it ISNT required to have a degree, or even preferred. So im finding myself in this odd gray area. Im worried, I could get into it now - And it could turn into some sort of a situation. Thoughts?

I don't think they are going to look into it. As long as you didn't write "Bachelors in"... then you're not lying.
