@GlueGun Kernow is dying out sadly, hope enough people keep it going.
is there even a standard edition now ? people were squabbling over it.
@GlueGun Didn't the last native speaker die a while ago? Or maybe I'm thinking of Manx.
i don't know, but i know there is a kind of revival thing happening.
@GlueGun That's great. Unless we make an effort, a lot of these obscure languages will die out. Here some Native American groups are trying to preserve their own languages. There are still people whose first language is Lakota or Navajo or a few others, but many of them are no longer spoken.

@GlueGun Same with Welsh, same with most Celtic languages. I hope they stop squabbling because it doesn't help to keep these languages alive.
@AliceTinker Aren't there still a lot of native Welsh speakers? I was talking to a lady on here who said Welsh was her first language, and she only learned English in school. And she wasn't even that old, she was a teenager.

Did you know Donald Trump's mother, Mary MacLeod, was from Tong in the Outer Hebrides, and her native language was Scottish Gaelic? She also learned English at school, but reportedly when she visited Scotland, she spoke Gaelic with her relatives.
