How strict are the marijuana laws where you are?

It's extremely strict. Police officers have the authority to stop anyone on the street and test them for drug use (don't try to argue your rights cause it won't work). The most commonly used test is the hair follicle test (I actually had been stopped randomly and was asked to do this). I was free to go after the testing.)

It doesn't matter where you took the drug too. Since I am a South Korean citizen, I can't go to a place where it's legal to smoke and smoke. I can get arrested and put to jail for up to 5 years (not including being detained until charges are pressed). Including a fine of 50 million won (which is about 45,000 dollars)

Even amphetamines and opiates are illegal.

In the UK it was declassified a few years ago, though not technically legal. Then it was reclassified again as an illegal drug. How strict the police are really depends on where you live and how much time the police have on their hands. In rural areas you can end up with your name in the paper for being caught with one single joint. There is a massive movement in the UK to get marijuana available for medical reasons, highlighted by a British mother who travelled to Canada to get some for her severely epileptic son, when it was confiscated on her return. The politicians are dragging their feet and need a kick up the backside.

Really dont know in the uk anymore, they keep changing it, think its ok if its personal use, you cant consume it in public and you cant sell it, abit like prostitution, everything but the actual act is illegal in some way.

Canada is about to legalize recreational use, so almost as loose as rules around smoking and alcohol.

Well, in the Philippines... 🤐 Let's just say it's also extremely strict.

You Korean people certainly have to behave yourselves!
unknownpoetx · 36-40, M
any drug consumption is not criminalized since decades. so no laws. addiction is a disease not a crime. trafficking is.

@unknownpoetx Also a lot of Korean drug traffikers have been killed in China for traffiking drugs.

But being addicted to the drugs is kind of the person's fault for taking the drugs that are illegal.

like I said, drug consumption is not criminalized, it's an addiction. people can't control themselves you moron. that's why it's such a problem.
fining them or putting them in prison is completely stupid inhumane and absurd. solves absolutely nothing at all.
in my country they get medically treated so they can recover from being addicts.
since drug consumption was decriminalized drug uses dropped 80%.
Opiates should be illegal. Marijuana should be legal everywhere. In Cali, I think they're making it hard to sell it.

In sweden cops are only allowed to search anyone on the streets if they have done something suspicious. If you're casually walking they're technically not allowed to do anything.
