Does anyone know how I can resolve an issue with Amazon Prime?

[c=#800000]I have text chatted with them, I have called them three or four times and I have written to them several times. They keep telling me there is a problem with my debit card. However, just the other night I rented and streamed a movie without an issue. Then, a day or to later they rejected my Prime enrollment for the fourth or fifth time. I have been trying to get this resolved for 2 1/2 weeks. I have no idea what to do. [/c]

[c=#800000]I think I finally isolated the problem. My card holder answered my question. Amazon was never able to tell me why I was having an issue. [/c]
@ProfessorPlum77 Well, I'm glad you resolved it. My SS benefits are deposited to a debit card and there are online and real life places (most often gas stations) that don't recognize the card.

[c=#800000]That has to be frustrating. Thank you for your concern. I was using a prepaid card and Amazon will not recognize it, since Prime is a recurring charge. However, no one at Amazon told me that. I called them four or five times, trying to get an answer. [/c]
@ProfessorPlum77 Makes sense.

@Mamapolo2016 Why didn't they tell me, though. I got so tired of calling them.
@ProfessorPlum77 No idea. We live in a world where the people who know why are in a different room than the people paid to tell us why.
