Daily crush update.

It was raining today. He asked me whether he could borrow his umbrella. I told him that if he was going down for a smoke, I will not lend the umbrella because I cannot be a part of something I don't believe in. But if he is going just for a walk or for coffee, then he is most welcome to take it.
He probably thinks I am very stuck up but... I don't care. It's against my principles. End of story.

I suppose you have no negative habits? There's nothing morally corrupt about being a smoker. If you had said that you didn't want the smell of his cigarettes in your umbrella I would think that was reasonable but your moral high ground is ridiculous. You are not his keeper. Unless he has asked you to help him quit it's none of your business.

@NodandaWink you are right. It's something I am trying to work on. But I still hate the idea of him burning his lungs and destroying his health

That part is note worthy and I applaud your concern but maybe just try to encourage him to change. No one ever quits because they are pushed. They quit because they have decided on their own that they are ready to quit.

@NodandaWink I will try. I am weak in that area.
