My kid brother once asked how much they paid people to get killed in movies.

@alan20 I've watched a man pour beer into his feeding tube. For some, it might work.

@Mamapolo2016 I don't know if this is still the case but in a certain local hospital they used to give patients who wanted it, Guinness. Apparently it's full of iron. Didn't give the patient much of an incentive to get better though.

@Mamapolo2016 Researched this for you. I'm told that in years gone by medical diagnoses weren't that accurate. However unlikely, the deceased could really be in a coma. So as a precaution the body was kept for three days before burial just in case it woke. Now we both know.

The celebration of someones life after they've passed away...LOTS of booze drunk.
LyricalOne · F
He’d probably get stiffed.
alan20 · M
@LyricalOne Probably was already though.
LyricalOne · F
@alan20 Guess they wouldn’t need to worry about paying him then.
alan20 · M
@LyricalOne True. He'd be dead drunk.

Weird

@Starcrossed Glad you enjoyed yourself. There's nothing like "Pretty little girl from Omagh, In the county of Tyrone" over a glass of Bush and in the company of the real thing!

@alan20 this made me giggle. Totally read with an Irish accent.

@Starcrossed Thank you.😪

Lol. Free burial?
alan20 · M
@SW-User I didn't investigate - I've had more than my fill of those real experiences - but I can't believe they'd stretch "real" that far. You know what they say : a tourist and his money are easily parted. At least I hope that's the explanation.
