@NankerPhelge Probably, but underground rock carried us on its back through the dark decade and she was their queen!

@GerOttman Her one big hit was "Because The Night", which got to number 5 in 1978. She co-wrote the song with the not very underground Bruce Springsteen.

@NankerPhelge It's easy, you just breath. In then out, but you think about it while you do it, which most people usually don't do very often. After awhile you start to reach out with your mind and sometimes the universe reaches out to you. The discrete points we learn begin to blur and run together. A new perception may be aroused. It's all bullshit of course...

@GerOttman If the "new perception" perceives the word "breath" as a verb then I don't think I want to know. I'm from the old school that recognises the word "breath" as a noun and I prefer it as a noun.
