Husband dresses baby in boy clothes only

Husband desperately wanted a boy. We had a beautiful girl about 8 months ago. I was okay at first, sorta laughing and what not when hed pick out little boy clothes. It seemed innocent at first. But now, we are 8 months in and ALL he buys are like "power rangers" and outfits with trucks, and dinosaurs and "daddys little dude" clothes for our little girl. I dont know what to do. Ive asked him to start buying girl clothes (which by the way when I say buy i mean pick out) I pretty much pay for everything... anyway.. What do I do? He just disregards what I have to say.. and buys it with our shared account.. when im not around (hes a stay at home dad right now)...Do I just let it keep happening? Do I just be patient and what till she can pick out her own clothes? or will this have any influence on her?

If he’s trying to make her act like a boy long term, it’s wrong. It’s like he’s communicating his disappointment, which is unfair to you and your daughter.

If he just likes trucks, no big deal.

Not written in stone that a girl has to wear girl clothes, but eventually she will have a preference one way or the other.
