No but my grandad (who has been dead himself now for many years) said he did. When he told the story it was so convincing simply because it wasn't at all spooky but very ordinary.
He saw a neighbour walking down the road, in broad daylight, but when he tried talking to her she didn't reply. He was surprised to see her as he knew she had been very ill and wasn't able to get up and about. He found out later that day that she had passed away the previous night.
