Are you familiar with the Darlie Routier case?

21 years ago she was found guilty of stabbing her young sons to death. There was a huge outcry when Darlie was shown at her boy's gravesite laughing and playing with "silly string". This was supposedly to honor one of the boy's birthday.

Darlie is on death row at present awaiting her last appeal. New evidence is showing other DNA found at the murder scene. Also, her husband has been accused of trying to pull off an insurance scam. What to you think?

I am very familiar with this case. I had to write a paper on it in college. I understand how people could believe that she was the killer, but I never figured out how they had enough evidence for a death sentence.

Also, that video, it's longer. Before all of the silly string and stuff, everyone there was incredibly somber.
@Myzery At first I had NO sympathy for Darlie, now I think there may be a case "beyond a reasonable doubt" in her favor. (hope you got a good grade on the paper)🐹

@Coyotedave611 I got an "A". I had no sympathy for her either, but my assignment was to argue in her defense. I am in no way saying I think she is 100% innocent, but, if she is involved in those boys' deaths, she wasn't working alone. And I wouldn't doubt the insurance scam thing. They were getting into hard times financially. And, he was just odd.
@Myzery I thought it weird when the husband referred to the murder night as being "a rough night" I would have been beside myself with grief. The whole thing just reeks!
@Myzery I agree. Guilty, maybe. Proven guilty? Not if I was a juror.
@Mamapolo2016 At this point me either.

@Coyotedave611 From what I gathered, neither one really cared for being parents. And she was just a trophy wife, which was fine with her for the most part.
The entire situation is bizarre.
@Coyotedave611 im not familiar with this case but in reading these comments im inclined to believe the man wanted to kill his kids for $$ and she may have helped him.. Or have been put up to it by him.. She seens to be lacking in brains and he seems lacking in remorse . They should reopen the case and maybe prosecute him as well imo 😤

Ugh
