Anyone here work in construction? What's that like?
I'm starting a new job tommorow as a labourer on a construction site. I've never done anything like this before, what am I in for?

it can be a decent life ,learn all the crafts you can
the more you learn ,the more money you make
They bust you go nads for a bit ,you will get it if you don't quit
thats all they are doing ,seeing if you can take it ,
Its tough work ,especially in the heat ,,
But a good crew can make lots of money
Now I am one call does it all
When I quit a few years ago ,building homes for the rich and famous
they called me boss
but I started toting 2x4's and lots and lots of mortar and shingles
you name it ,I have carried it ,
I have a little job coming up soon
it will use all those skills I learned ,and when I am done
an old house will look like new ,
now days thats what I do ,little jobs I can work at my pace
not the banks and some jerk who keeps moving up the move in date and expecting me to do magic
