In an online relationship..when can you say that enough is enough..you are wasting your time..

it depends on your expectations...for me, having no expectations is what keeps online relationships alive and well..but both parties must agree to this...the more you expect, the more frustrated you'll become if you both are not on the same page

@booboo That's the problem. One can easily expect online connections to lead to an in-person meeting. It is a bit like reading dating profiles: one gets this image. Many do. We are human. And that translates into trouble. Games people play. Oh, let's flirt. Let's fool around. Online sex even. One gives hopes, dreams a fancy flight. And catfish too. Add to that lonely people who just want true love. One that lasts. Sometimes the pages turn and one or both are left with blank pages. That is what I am talking about.
