How can I quit smoking? (THC)

I'm trying to quit smoking, not cigarettes but marijuana. I don't do it a lot anyways but I'm trying to not do it at all because it just makes me completely lazy and makes me lose my motivation in everything but I still do it some times.

I occasionally do THC edibles. Same effect.

If you only do it occasionally figure out why you do it when you do (are you in certain situations, are you feeling a certain way, do you have an unusual amount of stress?, etc.)

And then examine closely the issues that cause you to reach for the pipe. And think of other strategies you could use to deal with those situations.

You'll either feel better about toking, or you won't do it.

Either way it's self-knowledge.

@WoodyAq Well I only smoke joints. That was a joke. lol I just know it's either I don't do it at all or I do it because slowing down is only going to make go back to how I was smoking before eventually.

@justicexoxoxo If it is already a habit, then that's a whole other thing.

For me, it's just to distract me from drinking, and an attempt to self-medicate my depression.

@WoodyAq I use it to self medicate my anxiety and my lower back pain. So it's a hard bargain to just stop when I get these benefits and using regular medicine for pain never works out for me.

@justicexoxoxo True. Are you a large-breasted woman?

In any case, I'd recommend exercise, including weightlifting. The lower back pain can be dealt with by strengthening your upper back and core muscles. Properly supervised deadlifts and squats can work wonders. And natural endorphins can't be beat by any drug.

On the other hand, I do love a young stoned woman with big tits, so maybe don't change a thing ...

@WoodyAq My lower back pain came from an injury I sustained from a car accident last year.

@justicexoxoxo Oh. Still though, careful development of the muscles around the injury will improve your life considerably.
