the only thing I dreamed of doing I will never be able to do
I know cause my boss owned his own helo and even he was not allowed to fly it since he was not licensed
but I wanted to fly a helo ,,
but everything else I wanted to do I have done
not many men I know can say he has lifted a locomotive inside a engine house with an overhead crane ,let alone one that runs on steam and also another diesel powered and he built the engine powering both ,the locomotive and the crane
Running a travel lift out on 2 rails over the water to pick up yachts is pretty cool too
Being in charge of a vessel that says US COAST GUARD on the side of it was my real dream come true
Running Locomotives was a pretty big deal ,
Can't actually steer it ,,but that much power and being able to stop it on a dime is pretty cool (and thats not saying it will stop on a dime ,but I know how long it takes ,and how to have it under control when I need it to stop )

the wife is as much a part of it as we are ,
Mine said if I stayed in one more day longer than my enlistment she was leaving me ,(but we were in Miami and I was on duty 36 hrs on every 3 days ,
and with Escabar saying he was going to kill us for stopping his pot boats ,
She never knew when someone was going to come tell her I was dead ,and my buddied didn't help telling her about all the stupid stuff I did to make sure we always saved the day ,,so I get she was tired of worry and being alone too
But then she left 4 yrs later anyway ,,
Wish she had just left and I stayed in ,,but it wasn't meant to be I guess
But bless all of you ,we are Family in more ways than one
have a blessed day ,I think I am ready for a nap 🤗❤🤗
