Have you ever taken a medication that altered your personality?

Well I live with someone who has to take steroids now and again for renal failure... it alters his mood and makes him extremely cantankerous and ignorant... rather horrible...
Side effects to medicines can be grueling for the person who takes them and others who have to deal with the person. Shame these medicines cause these effects. But thankfully it's meds and not the average behaviour.

I went through the same thing with Tamoxifen. The drug made me feel worse than the cancer. Hopefully it's only a temporary thing for you?

Yes, beta blockers make me cry randomly but it could also be the illness itself since I have an adrenal burnout

A lot of medications do that. Especially hormones.

Yeah I was shaking yesterday

Zoloft. I had zero personality. As much flavor as tap water. And cotton mouth so bad it was like someone shoved a sweatshirt in my mouth.
