There have been some interesting social experiments along this line. It's surprising how many people will cross all kinds of lines with a little nudge and some peer pressure. I think the answer to this question is a curve plotted against the intensity level of the situation. In a low stress environment almost all are trustworthy, as the stakes are raised that percentage begins to fall off.
