Do you wonder how people survived without air conditioning back in the day?

I live in Southern California and have gone years without turning it on. I sort of dig feeling the environment. But last Friday, during a record breaker, I fired it up and holy SHIT did it feel good. I came in at 11 pm and it was still 107 degrees outside. I almost cried feeling that cold air.

@Ynotisay I'm lucky enough to live just a mile from the ocean in SoCal...I don't have AC, but it's only days like last Friday that I think about getting it fixed, lol

@Zaphod42 I'm about 10 miles away from the ocean so I usually a little of that breeze but Friday was a different animal. I'm sure it was down there too. That was a whole different kind of hot.
