If you quit a job can you go and pick up your check or do they mail it without you having a choice?

If you quit the formal way by putting in a two weeks notice and all that then it should be fine to go and pick it up. If you walked off the job then it may be best to call and ask for it to be mailed.

There was a time you could but now when people quit or get fired they escort them out of the building and strip them of their employee badge like it’s a court-martial.
