anyone else hate how the internet portrays people?

I can google specific descriptions of people and all it brings up are models and such and it annoys me. it needs to stop only showing those types of people, it makes almost everyone else feel down, like they wont ever look good enough and its all the internets fault i swear. just show us real freaking people, not freaking models all the time ugh.

They're all brushed anyway. Blah. Real people are beautiful. With scars and character and that eat food.

looking good is hard work, its not granted to anybody, just living a healthy life style is usually enough to make you look attractive, so stop complaining while you play your video games and get to work

@xSharp .... "the experiment is too small to conclude anything" xD and they said it's digested slower, not "not at all"... lol

That's everything doll. Even looking up cities and cool places to live you will only see the most outwardly beautiful results. What about people who think a good place to live is a cheap place! I swear the world is plastic.

@SecondHomeByTheSea i know, ive hated how image results work its awful, stop only showing the prettiest things or places and start showing real life and how not everything is their definition of "perfect"

@Kanimaz Thank you! I even find some of the worst American Idol and xfactor contestants the most entertaining lol

Maybe it tends to bring up models because the ordinary people who fit the search keep their images private. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Kanimaz · 22-25, F
@SW-User yes but also more people probably wouldnt if they didnt feel bad about how they looked or threatened. some just dont want strangers to see images of them and thats fine, but my main concern is how fake everything is any more. plus photographers should be able to to take images (with permission of course) or normal everyday people more often then they do with models.

Some do. I guess it depends on what you're googling.
The point of a model is to represent the artist's (the photographer's) point of view. Maybe the problem is a lack of creativity. @Kanimaz

Change the way you utilize the internet.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
not really. I don't have to look at someone and then think "that must be meeee"
Kanimaz · 22-25, F
if thats what you believe then ok, i wont argue, im simply saying it doesnt always need to be model material
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Kanimaz see then that's exactly what you're saying. "not model material", with that you mean "less attractive"
Kanimaz · 22-25, F
@MartinTheFirst no im saying most models are portraying what most people would call attractive, others see it as fake looks, some even find models unattractive. im not saying anything about attractive levels however.
Models? What are you Googling?
@Kanimaz but what things? What search terms?
Kanimaz · 22-25, F
well ive tried, shy, scrawny, ordinary, nerd, geek, worker, teen, guy, woman, people wearing glasses, people, etc. and heck if you google ordinary people it shows pictures from a movie called ordinary people
@Kanimaz I see. Maybe include "amateur" in there
