And yet again, another lack of understanding about approaching women/people in a public setting...

Today, some strange guy approached me from behind while I was in the parking area where I live dealing with an issue of my vehicle. He said something to get my attention and as I turned around with a confused look on my face he says to me, "don't be giving me that stink face" and then asks me for money.

I don't live in the 'best' neighborhood, to say the least. Why can't there be understanding met about that as well as that I'm alone when approached?

That's when you call the cops or bring your pocket knife or stun gun if you don't own a gun

@Chickie I have dealt with a lot of people (mostly males) saying rude things to me in public for no good reason. I don't have a permit to carry any weapon. Mace sounds good, though
