Could be many reasons.... Some people were raised that way. Others might have had a difficult childhood, didn't have much of anything, etc.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But, tbh, I sometimes fall into this trap... you know... thinking nothing will ever work out. It's definitely not good though. So far, (and with some help from time to time from strangers) I kind of get out of the traps though.

Fear of failure. And, possibly envious of the successes of others.

maybe genetic, possibly situations that make it impossible to be positive, or maybe just not wanting to see the light. I suppose there's a light in every situation, but just too difficult.

Any number of reasons. Could be psychological issues, could be the result of negative experiences which make it difficult to keep hope alive.

@sighmeupforthat I've read tgeres going to be a remake. Not sure how I feel about that but I still do watch the movie. It's on my top 5 favourite classics
