The earth may indeed be warming. Historical records show that climate can change over 100-1000 year periods. We have survived such changes before and the earth adapts pretty well.
Unproven, to my satisfaction at least, is that human activity has anything to do with it. This warming seems to be occuring just as sunspot activity is at its lowest.
Im not happy with steps that cost billions and give much more power to governments all to combat global warming.

@redredred These "environmentalists" might as well go have a mass protest whilst standing in the caldera of a soon to erupt volcano as far as I'm concerned... 🤔

But sunspots are right on. Its the sun driving the climate and we determine how things will go with those spots. A scientist valentina Zarkov has predicted another 40 year cooling period like the maunder minimum. We need to start growing food indoors if we are to adapt. If you wanttip get rich invest in a method to grow food that can grow when the ground is frozen. I have and its starting to pay off already.

@redredred 80's sugar good, 90's sugar bad, 2000's sugar good, 2010's+ sugar bad... (personally, I'll take natural cane sugar over HFCS & artificial sweeteners any day...)
for decades they've been preaching how bad tobacco is, now they've discovered it may hold the cure to several diseases, including Alzheimers... (the irony is, if you look up a list of the world's longest lived people, a good portion of them are smokers...)
Caffeine in soda? supposedly bad for you. The solution? produce energy drinks that contain 5-10x the amount of caffeine in soda, market it as a health drink and claim it's good for you...
Many of the 90's era energy pills/supplements were outlawed due to all the heart attacks they were causing, but sure, drink up that Red Bull... we'll just blame it on something else this time... like sugar and/or smoking... 🤔
