A long life, the limbs get weak, the mind less anchored...bound to the bed, a burden to family and friends.

Take good care of yourself. If I ever become a burden to my son I'll go off in the woods and die alone. I watched my dad die, now I'm watching my mom die slowly and miserably. No way I'd put my son through this.
