Best advice you've ever gotten?
A college professor once told me, if you REALLY want to learn a subject you need to TEACH IT! It really does work.

When you have to explain a concept to sombody you have to think of it from all angles and how to break it down such that the other person understands. That fosters a deeper understanding on your part. You’ve no longer just memorized a fact on the surface but fleshed it out.
