Trauma wouldn't disappear just because you got rid of the person who inflicted it upon you. It doesn't work that way. @roy1990

@SW-User exactly right ... that one will stay with the victim for life ... much like the scar from a terrible accident . Doesn’t hurt to touch but it is a reminder of the pain .

@roy1990 would it take the memory of the rape away ? Knowing he’s dead doesn’t solve anything .. the horror lives on .
