Definition of `smeg-bleating` - deliberately baffling people by using words & phrases they are not familiar with. Do you do this often?

I don't do it on purpose, I once got in trouble for using the word "idiosyncrasies" because I'd read it in a story and just learned what it meant. My one "uncle" and his daughter both thought I'd called my sister an idiot.
