What can I do with programming?

Anything you want. I program robots, write software to help me analyse data, and I wrote an MP3 player because nothing out there did what I wanted. I write programs to manipulate images, a windows manager, a fast fourier transform for sound analysis. Whatever you have a need for, you can probably do.

Lots. If you get [i]really[/i] good, you may even be able to make a minimally-functional application that displays the text "HELLO WORLD" when it is opened.

I don't know what to do with the languages because I think it has already been written.
