are we ever happy with what we have or do we always have to have more in order to be happy?

After the floods of Hurricane Harvey, when so many of my neighbors and family lost almost all of their material possessions, I was grateful for all that I had. That was months ago, and I have to ask, "Did we really need that new washer and dryer?"
